|
Hermitage scheme covers the villages of Hermitage and Marlston, which are a few miles to the north-east of Newbury. The patch includes several schools and old people’s homes, as well as private houses and shops. Calls attended in the past 12 months include cardiac arrests, chest pain, suspected stroke, fitting, asthma, diabetes emergencies, and breathing difficulties. As mentioned elsewhere on the site, please have someone available to greet the emergency services outside the property, and remember that Responders travel in unmarked cars, so don’t necessarily expect blue lights. |
