| What is a Responder? |
|
The Team | The Chieveley Responder Group | |
| ...a member of the public, trained by the Ambulance Service, who volunteers to help in their community by responding to medical emergencies before the arrival of an emergency ambulance. |
At present there is only one
responder for this area so we are actively looking for new recruits to be
able to provide 24/7 coverage for this valuable service. Rachel Middleton-Smith is the local Scheme Coordinator and for general enquiries, and fund-raising, she can be contacted by phone on 07545 630150. If you would like to help too, please contact Rachel or the SCAS Responder Manager, Hugh Whitaker on 0118 9365563 or 0783 4677913 or by email - hugh.whitaker@scas.nhs.uk |
