I have lived and worked in the Cherwell Valley in North Oxfordshire for the last 34 years, but being married to a now retired Naval Officer, I have travelled extensively and gained inspiration in many parts of the world.

My holidays are always accompanied by sketchbooks and watercolour gear, oils proving a little heavy for the ageing body!

My first teaching experiences were in Singapore in the late sixties, and for many years I tutored locally for the LEA with great enjoyment, but the time came to organize private tuition. I relish the freedom that enables time for individual tuition within smaller groups, not dictated by school terms.

My students continually inspire experimentation in my own work, and I never stop learning from them; what more could one ask for……?

In recent years, I have enjoyed the exposure from both commercial activities and the creative aspect of preparing and presenting exhibitions and I hope to see these areas develop.
